How keyboards work

I never knew how moderni inexpensive keyboards worked. Who would have thought it was so simple… plastic domes and three sheets of mylar.

Check out this channel 9 video from Microsoft which talks about pressure-sensitive keyboards, which are more sophisticated…

    That technology was invented by Steven Sample, president of UB when we were students there. Weren’t you an engineering major?
