This article suggests that NTFS might not be the best choice to manage a ReadyBoost volume. Clearly, exFAT is superior to FAT32 except in one regard: compatibility. It even ahs advantages over NTFS. However, NTFS is still more capable in areas of file time resolution (NTFS 100 nanos, exFAT 10 millis). Also exFAT avoids NTFS verifies… is that good?
