Construction coming to a close
Our year-long, nay, over a year construction project is finally coming to a close. Today, we had the pleasure of celebrating my son’s birthday with my family and one of our closest friends. The latter, of course, being the man who did all of the construction over the past year.

Although fairly cold, I went outside and took a few shots of the back of my house. All aspects of the back is complete now, aside for the swing-set area which we intend on finishing u p with some astro-turf. Here are a few shots of the back:
We hope to make good use of the porch this coming spring! You might wonder what’s left. Well, we’re putting in a new floor in our living room, a new entertainment center, and we’re replacing all of the doors on the first floor. The door to the basement and the boys’ rooms are all very old and don’t work so well. Here is a picture of the cutout for the new TV:
